The NSW Government has confirmed Sydney’s New Year’s Eve fireworks will go ahead! The Lord Mayor is also encouraging people to watch this year’s display in a Covid-Safe environment. The vast majority of Sydneysiders will be watching from home on the television and only a limited number of tickets are available on cruises.
Our revised New Year’s Eve cruises have now been released with contactless check-in, cashless terminals, social distancing and a full range of Covid-Safe initiatives. Join us as the eyes of the world turn to Sydney Harbour on New Years Eve. There was never a better year to farewell and a new year more desired. Make sure your 2020 New Year’s Eve is memorable!
2.5hr Fireworks Cruise on Sydney Harbour – Departs from Manly Wharf 2 at 10:00pm.
Celebrate New Year’s Eve with our BYO fireworks cruises, departing at 10:00pm from Manly Wharf 2 with ample time to get into a great position on Sydney Harbour for the most spectacular fireworks displays in the world.
At the stroke of midnight, we will celebrate the start of the new year in spectacular fashion with Sydney’s world-famous fireworks display. A huge range of pyrotechnic effects from across the Sydney Harbour Bridge will illuminate the sky.
Ocean Flyer will be in a prime position on Sydney Harbour, which ensures us uninterrupted views of the midnight fireworks. Exact location to be confirmed.
My Fast Ferry and Fantasea Cruising have large fleets of modern and comfortable catamarans, with viewing areas spread out over multiple levels.
Passenger numbers on all cruises are greatly reduced to comply with COVID-19 social distancing requirements, so finding a good vantage point to see the fireworks is guaranteed.
A great position on Sydney Harbour offers uninterrupted views of the fireworks. Exact 2020 fireworks positions on Sydney Harbour have not been confirmed yet.
In 2019 our vessels were just west of the Sydney Harbour Bridge for Darling Harbour departures and east of the Sydney Harbour Bridge for Manly departures.
